Burbank High School Aquatic Center Renovation

Sacramento City Unified School District

Luther Burbank High School's original pool served its community for more than six decades before time finally caught up with it. The replacement didn't just restore what was there; it raised the standard. The 1961 six-lane, 25-yard pool gave way to a new eight-lane facility with fully updated mechanical, filtration, chemical, and heating systems, along with a replaced pool deck and drainage system and dedicated storage for aquatic equipment. The boys' and girls' locker rooms were renovated in full, brought into ADA compliance and outfitted with new showers to meet the needs of the upgrades facility's aquatics program. Custom environmental graphics in school colors complete the transformation while capturing the school's identity.
