Kaiser Permanente Modesto Medical Center 24-bed Medical/Surgical Unit

Kaiser Permanente

Shelled space represents potential — square footage waiting for a purpose. The fourth floor of the North Tower at Kaiser Permanente's Modesto Templated Hospital had sat unfinished, and this 15,800-square-foot tenant improvement brought it fully online as a 24-bed Medical and Surgical unit complete with the support spaces that seamless patient care requires.

The project demanded a full complement of design services: architecture, Office of Statewide Health Planning & Development-compliant structural engineering, interior design, and furniture services, each coordinated to meet the regulatory rigor that healthcare construction requires while delivering a functional environment which supports the delivery of exceptional care in one of California's fastest-growing regions.
