Lionakis Irvine Office Tenant Improvement

Two key principles guided the design of Lionakis' Irvine office. The first, Design for Well-being, begins with the decision to occupy a LEED Platinum certified building and extends through every detail that followed. An open office layout ensures natural light and expansive views reach every workstation. Quiet pods offer low-stimulation focus space; expansive collaboration areas support team energy. A social café, weekly fresh fruit deliveries, a fitness center, and outdoor spaces for both work and relaxation treat wellness as a daily practice rather than a perk.

The second, Design for Change, treats flexibility as a fundamental design strategy rather than an afterthought. Workstations minimize fixed elements while exceeding industry standard sizing, giving employees generous, adaptable surfaces. Mobile carts and tables allow individuals to reconfigure their environment for hours, days, or months at a time. An innovation lab with fully movable furniture serves double duty — showcasing design options for clients while testing new workplace concepts internally. Breakout spaces and project tables of varying scales accommodate whatever the work demands on any given day.

The result is a workplace that responds as dynamically to individual needs as it does to collective goals, creating an environment where employees thrive both professionally and personally.
