Mission College Business and Technology Building

West Valley-Mission Community College District

The new Business and Technology Building at Mission College completes the ring of innovative facilities that surround the dynamic Interdisciplinary Plaza. This thoughtfully planned evolution began with the Gillmor Center, followed by the Student Engagement Center, and culminates with this striking two-story facility that replaced aging portable buildings.

A distinctive canopy entrance marks the point where campus pathways converge, giving the building a presence that draws students in and creates a natural gathering point. Inside, flexible and technology-rich spaces adapt to evolving teaching methods and different learning styles. An outdoor classroom on the second floor opens to campus views.

Courtyards, transparent facades, varied seating options, and seamless indoor-outdoor connections invite students to learn, collaborate, and socialize in whatever way works best for them. LEED Gold certified, it completes the plaza's ring with the same contemporary sensibility that defines it.
