UC Davis Health Midtown Clinic

UC Davis Health

Consolidating a network of dispersed clinics into a single location changes the patient experience as much as it changes operations. The UCDHS Midtown Clinic Renovation brought primary and specialty care together under one roof, filling an existing 100,000 square foot, three-story building.

Originally built as an outpatient medical office building, the facility required meaningful infrastructure investment to support current medical practice, including a new elevator, updated stairs, mechanical and emergency generation systems, and medical gas infrastructure. The renovated facility houses primary care, internal medicine, pediatrics, neurology, and GI clinics alongside a sleep lab, GI specialty procedure suite, and imaging and lab departments — several designed to OSHPD-3 standards, with the GI suite meeting I-2.1 occupancy requirements.
