State Offices at Butterfield Way

The Franchise Tax Board’s 90 acre campus was in need of a new sustainable office space, warehouse, and a central plant. Project involved a major expansion and renovation of the Franchise Tax Board’s 1.8 million square foot campus to create a new energy-efficient, environmentally and socially responsible sustainable village center for 7,500 Franchise Tax Board employees. The project was bid in five packages and consists of new and renovated office space which is LEED Silver Certification after completion. The idea behind the single campus was to promote and foster a new organizational culture and excellence.
