Dating back to 1988, Lionakis first began a relationship with the City of Sacramento to provide plan check services. Throughout our history together, we have worked to design projects throughout the City including the iconic Sacramento River Intake Structure, also well known as the “dragonfly on the water”. Other projects include the Natomas Fire Station Number 43 and the Police Department, General Services, Tenant Improvement. Most recently, we provided access compliance services for Camp Sacramento. We are excited for the opportunity to once more serve our “Farm-to-Fork” and “City of Trees” which is also California’s Capitol, for a three-year term to provide accessibility (ADA and compliance) and structural engineering services on a variety of projects. We look forward to seeing how the home of our headquarters city expands and develops and of course, continuing to design a better future together for years to come!
