USC HANCOCK FOUNDATION BUILDING Biogeochemical Research LABORATORY

We provided schematic design through construction phase services for this project. This laboratory suite is one of nine research laboratories occupying the adaptively reused Hancock Foundation Building’s “Forever Science Library” at the University of Southern California. This tenant improvement was for a 1,240 square foot laboratory for a new Associate Professor who specializes in researching climate-ecosystem interactions, marine carbon and nutrient cycling, microbial ecosystem dynamics, numerical ecosystem models, dimethyl sulfide and climate change. The space includes a wet laboratory, student area and a tropical environment chamber.
