USC Seeley G. Mudd Building, Chemistry Teaching Laboratory

The Seeley G Mudd Chemistry Lab at the University of Southern California is a 27,730 square foot chemistry laboratory that occupies the first three levels of a 10-story science building. Key features of the renovation include enhanced media and technology, a “Science On Display” theme, 19 open bench teaching laboratories and 94 new fume hoods. The teaching laboratories include organic, honors and general chemistry. The renovation also provided support spaces for both the Physics and Chemistry Departments. Additionally, we provided a Feasibility Study, programming and planning through construction phase services for this project. The facility was completed in three phases and remained operational during the renovation.
