USC Davis School of Gerontology Research Laboratories

This project consisted of converting an existing 3,900 square foot vivarium into laboratories and faculty research offices. A break room / lounge for graduate students was also included. The laboratory provides research space for the study of basic physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology and molecular biology of mitochondrial-derived peptides (MDP’s). We  provided programming, planning and schematic design through construction phase services. The lab included specialized accessory uses of a confocal microscope room, an autoclave room and a variable 80 degree freezer storage room.
