Lounge On 20

This owner set out to create “the ultimate loft dining” experience. A space where people would gather at shared tables and seating, as if they were at a party in someone’s loft. Initial ideas for a restaurant, seating 150, were based on imitating the flow of a private residence, and understanding all the program requirements.

Zones were created within the plan to allow for living spaces, dining spaces, social gathering spaces, and furniture was specified and arranged to enhance this idea.

It was also key to preserve and work with existing materials within the space—concrete floor, wood timber columns, ceiling and beams, concrete block walls, and wood doors that open to an outside patio deck.
