Mira Loma Science Building

The new Science Building for Mira Loma High School is one of the “signature” high school projects outlined by San Juan Unified School District in the development of the program for their local general obligation bond. The science building replaces the existing science labs from the 1960s in support of a campus that boasts a nationally ranked Science Olympiad team and a rigorous International Baccalaureate program. The project, a two-story building at approximately 32,000 square feet, was delivered in the Design-Build delivery method in collaboration with DPR Construction. With ten labs, a rooftop outdoor learning patio and an interior commons with amphitheater seating, the space serves the Sciences as well as the broader campus for student and community gathering space.
