UCSF Campus Data Center
The UCSF Campus Data Center was a consolidation of multiple small server rooms spread across the UCSF campus. The new facility is 8,000 square feet with an additional 4,000 square feet for expansion. It has a 400kVA UPS and a 750 kw engine generator for emergency power. Sustainability had become an important issue for UCSF and they set a goal for LEED certification for the project. By working with our in-house Sustainability group, the project achieved the certification level of LEED Gold.
