This week’s list of the area’s 25 largest architectural firms is ranked by number of licensed architects at local offices. In ties, they are ranked by 2013 revenue. Lionakis remains the largest architectural firm in the area having garnered that coveted spot since 1992.

It also is the oldest architectural firm in the area. It was established here in 1909. The next oldest is Nacth & Lewis Architects which set up shop in 1922. Several companies are new to the list this year: Blackbird Associates Inc., Comstock Johnson Architects Inc., CSHQA Inc., DTR Consulting Services Inc., HMR Architects Inc., MFDB Architects Inc. and RMW architecture & interiors.
