Lionakis participated in the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Yolo County Juvenile Hall Addition project this past Tuesday in Woodland. We have been working with the County to design an 11,300 square foot addition to the existing Juvenile Hall we completed several years ago. The new addition will be situated on a vacant field between the existing youth detention facility and County Road 102 and will feature a large gymnasium as well as space for family contact visits and community-based programs including tutoring, counseling and parenting classes that aim to reunify families and get them back on track. Broward Builders will construct this $7.7 million project and completion is scheduled for early 2017. For more information on this exciting event, checkout this article in the Davis Enterprise.
